Openable sides with a grain hatch

In Weckman trailers, the structure of the sides ensures tightness even with finer materials.

Thanks to the grain sides and additional sides that are mounted on top of the standard sides, the sides are easy to handle. The grain trailers have 2-part tailgates, which can be opened fully or partially. The tailgate has a secure 4-point locking mechanism and it comes with a lockable grain gate as a standard accessory. The sides are made of 2 mm thick Docol 420 steel.

The standard height of grain trailer sides is 40 or 50 cm, depending on the model. As an option, grain and additional sides are available, which can be used to raise the height of the sides and to increase the container volume.

For comfort and safety, the trailer is equipped with sturdy steps on the front side and detachable steps inside the platform.

Durable frame, spacious container

Thanks to its torsionally rigid frame and platform structure, the trailer can withstand even heavy loads, offering a long service life. The frame and platform stringers are made of tubular beams. The thick bottom plate can withstand the loading stresses. All parts of the frame and platform are dip-coated, resulting in a coating that also covers the inside of the tubular beam of the frame, preventing corrosion.

The long towbar (in model WS130 G) also improves the turning radius of the trailer when running on twin wheels. The hydraulic hoses and electric wires run inside the towbar, protected from damage.

Sturdy bogie with high ground clearance

The trailer has a symmetrical bogie design, in which the middle axle is lower than the hub axles, enabling the trailer to pass over obstacles easily, which helps to keep the load stable during transport. Weckman trailers have high ground clearance, since the sturdy bogie does not need any additional support.
